Refund an order, fully or in part

Open the order and choose Refund.

• Refund the whole order, some items, or an amount you type (for example a goodwill gesture).
• Card and PayPal refunds go back to the customer through Stripe or PayPal. Cash orders record the refund for your books.
• Choose store credit instead to give a gift card code worth the amount.

Every refund creates a credit note, and Finances and Reports show it. Only people with access to money can refund.
